Although not a commonly owned pet in Malaysia, there are still Malaysians who own a Giant Schnauzer, which is recognized as an Extra Large size breed. Additionally, for Large size breeds that are highly active, our groomers may spend an additional 30-45 minutes calming them down before starting the grooming process. At our grooming salon, we prioritize both the grooming experience and quality, which is why we avoid using harsh methods to control your pets and instead take the time to befriend them.

1. How long will the entire grooming process take?

The grooming process duration can vary depending on the breed, size, and coat condition of your pet. Generally, it takes 1-3 hours, but it can be longer for specific breeds or specialized services.

2. Where will you groom my furkids?

We will travel based on the appointment to your house, do the grooming inside our grooming truck in front/ nearby of your house/condo/office

Please take note that we don’t do grooming inside customer’s house.

3. Will you use our electricity and water supply while grooming?

Yes, we will require access to an electrical outlet and a water supply to perform the grooming service at your home.

If you reside in a landed property, please ensure that these facilities are available during the scheduled appointment.

If you have any special requirements or limitations regarding the use of electricity and water, please let us know in advance.

For customers that residing in condos, we have our own generator to supply electricity, and a water tank for water supply to ensure a hassle-free grooming experience.

4. What kind of shampoo do you use?

At House of Paws, we use Artero brand shampoo, which is known for its high-quality, hypoallergenic, and pet-friendly formulation.

This shampoo is safe for your pet’s skin and coat, and we highly recommend it for the best results.

If your pet has any specific skin conditions or allergies, please inform us in advance, and we will use an appropriate shampoo recommended by your vet.

Artero shampoo is available in two categories, namely Detox and Basic.

Artero Detox is perfect for pets with a strong body odor, and it leaves them smelling fresh and clean.

Artero Basic, on the other hand, is recommended for pets that prefer fragrance-free shampoos or have allergies to certain scents.

5. How much is the exact price?

The exact price of our grooming services can vary depending on the breed, size, coat condition, and specific services required. Please contact us for a personalized quote for your pet.

6. Can I see the grooming process, or can my kids see the grooming process?

For safety reasons, we do not encourage customers or children to be present during the grooming process. However, we will be happy to share photos or videos of the grooming process upon request.

7. What is a sanitary trim?

A sanitary trim is a grooming procedure in which the groomer trims the hair around the anus and genitals of your pet to keep them clean and hygienic.

8. What is anal gland expression?

Anal gland expression is a procedure in which the groomer manually expresses the anal glands of your pet to relieve any discomfort or pain your pet may be experiencing due to blocked or infected anal glands.

9. Do you provide only ear cleaning and nail cutting services?

No, we do not offer ear cleaning and nail cutting services as standalone services. This is due to we covered both services in our basic or full grooming package. Please contact us for more information.

For the first time utilising HOPS, the groomer arrived on schedule and they responded quickly to WhatsApp messages. Excellent and courteous customer service! It was simple to make the payment as well. My dog, LV, has a fresh scent, was thoroughly groomed, and her paws appear to be clean. Excellent work! Am so delighted by the service. My Mica, a diva tortie, came back looking so fresh and clean. The deshedding is just awesome since normal brushing at home is not that effective. Thanks to the groomer too for being punctual and waited patiently while I was sweating it out trying to get my Mica into her carrier.

My two Shibas spent a week in quarantine after a long flight, plus they started to shed so they were really in need for professional grooming. Since we were staying at an Airbnb, we made the choice to go with HOPS because they provide mobile grooming services. Everything from enquiries to booking to grooming to post-grooming was super efficient and wonderful! The young lady who did the grooming was so kind and lovely, my dogs were happy and relaxed instead of stressed after the grooming even though it was their first time. HOPS was really quick to respond and very proactive in their communication and reminders. Payment was easy through e-payment. I was looking for a mobile pet grooming service because my furbaby is too picky and has had a bad experience with groomers in the past due to an injury. Overall, my experience with HOPS has been fantastic, from booking to post-service follow-ups. You can even request that they send you the grooming footage if you are concerned about your furbaby's safety during the sessions. My poodle comes back with a happy face after every grooming sessions with them.Would highly recommend their service, worth every penny!
